★ Prior to commencing services, I’ll send through an intake form and service agreement. Once you’ve submitted these, we can arrange a brief meet and greet where appropriate to discuss your pet, the information you’ve provided, and what you’re hoping to get out of my services.

★ Please feel free to share anything about your pet’s history, health, behaviour, routines or preferences, even if it doesn’t seem directly related. The more context I have, the better I’m able to tailor their care.

★ My priority is always your pet’s safety, comfort and welfare. I use force-free, positive reinforcement and low-stress approaches, and avoid aversive tools and methods. Training and behaviour are rarely quick fixes, and I aim to work at a pace your pet is comfortable with.

★ I’m currently completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and can assist with ongoing medical tasks. My services do not replace veterinary care.

★ Let me know if you’re interested in more than one service. I’m very happy to combine services where practical and keep things as cost-effective as possible.

★ After each service, I’ll send through a summary and invoice. Payment is due within 72 hours by bank transfer or cash. If you book more than one service per week, I’ll generally send one weekly invoice instead.

★ I communicate best by text or email and prefer these where possible. That said, phone calls are absolutely fine where necessary, particularly in an emergency or where calling is more accessible for you.

★ A 50% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made within 60 minutes of the scheduled service. I don’t charge for rescheduling.

I’m neurodivergent and have my own lived experience with mental and physical health challenges, so I know firsthand that things like communication, energy, mobility, sensory needs and executive functioning can all affect how easy it is to organise care.

If there’s anything I can do to make the process easier or more accessible for you, please let me know! You never need to disclose a diagnosis or explain why if you don’t want to. I’m very happy to work with you to find communication or service arrangements that suit you better.

⬥ Four-week behaviour package

Some behavioural concerns need more support than an occasional one-hour session. For pets experiencing ongoing fear, reactivity, difficulty coping or several interconnected concerns, I offer structured behaviour support over four weeks.

This includes:

★ a full behaviour assessment

★ a behaviour plan

★ weekly in-person sessions of up to 60 minutes

★ text support between sessions

⬥ Six-week follow-up behaviour package

For existing behaviour clients who would benefit from continued support after completing a 4 week package.

This includes:

★ three in-person sessions of up to 60 mins

★ continual review to the behaviour plan

★ text support between sessions

Behaviour modification is a team effort. My aim is to help you better understand what your pet is communicating, reduce stress, build trust and develop practical skills that make everyday life easier.

★ Dog walks from your home, ranging from 30 to 120 minutes.

★ Walks can include sniffing, play, enrichment and training, tailored to your dog’s individual needs and preferences.

★ Please let me know about any behavioural concerns, training goals, sensitivities, preferred routes or areas you’d like us to avoid. I’ll also ask about things like your dog’s usual walking routine and anything you’d like done before or after the walk.

★ Please ensure your dog has a secure, well-fitting collar or harness and lead. I carry a backup slip collar in case their usual equipment breaks or malfunctions.

★ After each walk, I’ll send you a message with our route, what we got up to, and anything notable about your dog’s behaviour, health or wellbeing.

★ Walks may need to be shortened, modified or replaced with another activity during adverse weather or where your dog’s comfort or safety would otherwise be compromised.

★ Day and/or night pet minding in your home (2 hour minimum).

★ Minding can include meals, fresh water, medication, basic grooming, play and enrichment, pet-related cleaning, and maintaining your pet’s usual routines as closely as possible.

★ Before the booking, I’ll ask about your household routine, feeding, toileting, exercise, medication, sleep, time alone and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable while you’re away.

★ Let me know how much communication you’d like during the booking. I’m happy to keep updates to important or emergency matters only, or send frequent photos and recaps if you prefer!

★ Please provide any household, cleaning or grooming supplies you’d like me to use during the stay.

★ $10 after-hrs flat fee where any booked time falls between 6pm-6am

★ Walks booked with minding are 50% off

★ Flexible pet-care tasks including drop-ins, feeding and fresh water, medication administration, basic grooming/bathing and cleaning pet spaces.

★ Drop-ins can be anything from a brief welfare, food and water check to a longer visit where agreed. I can also replace bedding, scoop litter, provide medication, play with your pet or just keep them company for a little while.

★ I’m happy to help with meal preparation, dietary routines and medication where clear instructions are provided. Basic grooming can include brushing or bathing where your pet is comfortable participating.

★ I can also clean pet spaces and items, including crates/enclosures, litter trays, bedding, pet dishes and similar areas.

★ Please provide a clear description of the tasks you’d like completed and make any required supplies easy to access. I travel by public transport, so I generally can’t bring household cleaning or grooming supplies with me unless organised prior.

Pricing varies depending on the time, complexity and number of tasks involved. I’ll confirm the expected price with you beforehand and keep combined services as cost-effective as possible.

★ I can bring along a novel enrichment item or activity for your pet as an add-on to another booked service.

★ Depending on the activity and your preference, I can guide your pet through it during my visit or leave it set up and ready for you to offer later.

★ Please give me around 24 hours’ notice where possible. I put some thought into choosing or preparing something suited to your pet, so a little notice gives me time to gather materials or organise equipment. Shorter-notice requests may still be possible if I already have something suitable available.

★ Some enrichment items are single-use, while reusable items such as snuffle mats or other equipment remain mine and are cleaned and disinfected between households. Please make any loaned items available for collection afterward.

★ If you already have enrichment toys or activities at home, I’m always happy to use these during a booked service at no extra cost. Feel free to let me know your pet’s favourites and I’ll do my best to bring something special for them!
